FRUIT CUSTARD

This is one of the Tastiest and Healthiest Desserts that you can make once a week with the locally available Fruits such as apple , Plum , Banana , Grapes , Pineapple of your choice. You can mix the chopped seasonal fruits  with milk Sauce . You need not add any Artificial Colour and Custard Powder . The Fresh Fruits , Nuts and Milk gives you a Rich Aroma that’s healthy and Flavourful .


 The preparation is extremely simple, you can make any variations for this exotic recipe.I also  extended this recipe by adding cherries, tutti frutti, plum, almonds, pista and even cashews and some Dry Fruits to make it Even more Healthier. Let’s see my Traditional way of making it . 

INGREDIENTS:

    1.Full Fat Milk - 2 cups

    2.Sugar (For Taste )

    3.Cardamom Powder -¼ tbsp 

    4.Corn Flour     

    5.Nuts 

    6.Fruits (your choice )

My All Time Favourite Choice is to use  Apple, Pomegranate, Banana, Grapes.


INSTRUCTIONS:

    1.Make Custard Powder using Corn Flour and Flavour it with Vanilla Extract 

    2.Add 2 tbsp of Saffron milk in Custard Flavour for a rich Flavour .

    3.Heat Milk in a thick bottomed Pan .    

    4.Once the Milk is boiled add the Custard Mixture and also add suga for taste. 

    5.Stir Continuously , make sure that No lumps are formed . 

    6.It thickens slightly, and the Color turns to Golden Yellow. 

    7.Transfer it to a small bowl and Cool Completely.         

    8.Now, Gently Add the Chopped Fruits, Nuts, Dry Fruits,Tutti frutti and mix them well  

    9.Add Cardamom Powder for Rich Essence . 

    10.Cover and chill for 2 hours . 

    11.Once, it is chilled it turns more Thick and Creamy. 

    12.Finally, serve fruit custard chilled.
