 Story of the movie was told as Chapter wise like Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds.There is a only similarity between this movie apart from that everything is different.

 

  

Overall Movie Explanation :  

     Story was about the middle class family who are living in Chennai ,Tamilnadu in period of 1970'S, Elder Sister Kavitha who is very rude with everybody in the family as well as with everyone she meets in daily life and goes for the job to full fill the each and everybody's need her sister Chadra who is window and married before her sister, Elder Murty brother is drug addict her wife and two children and one younger sister,one young brother who is blind and their mother living in the small house.

Her Innocent Friend :

        Chandra Kavitha's friend in her perceptive she is out of the box her and she always use the word "fatafat" which means every thing was just for fun ,she was fearless girl and she hangout with her boyfriends one day when Kavitha meet her on the bus and she told about the breakup with her boyfriend and she tells "I am from the fertility center i went for my abortion her after i will not  hangout  out  with boys because it is physically paining Even i didn't tell this to my mother because my boyfriend family was arranging the marriage for him" like that she say "Fatafat" it is nothing for me.

      Tilak Kavaitha's boyfriend who is rich and he is waiting for five years for Kavitha to accept for marriage, but Kavitha always refuses it because of her family situation. After some days Kavitha got the letter that her father said that he is  coming home after a long time so Kavitha thinks that after her father is going to take care of the family. After that I may choose the happiest way to live. 

 

And then she tells Tilak that I am ready for marriage and I am going to resign from my job..

Her First Hope :

       After her father's return she was terrified because he was a saint(who devoted them to god and does want a family and the society), He tells that I do not come here to stay with you I come here for the temple in the edge of the state so i just come here to give my blesses to you and then Kavitha tells that we don't want your blessing so please leave this house before i get angry.

 Tragic situation of kavitha:

           Again Kavitha refuse to accept the marriage with Tilak. One fine day Kavitha tenant Gopal (who is search the stage to prove his mimicry talent), making the fun of Kavitha with her sister Bharathi  and Kavithan find out it and scold him and he is also having the crush on the Bharathi.One day fine day Thilak visited to Kavitha  house for hangout and Kavitha told to everybody in her family that no one should come inside room until he is leaves. After some day Bharathi expose the her love with Thilak and Kavitha was shocked while hearing it,and she accept it and she meet he Tikal and says goodbye for their love and thanking him to accept marriage her window sister.And Kavitha return to house and went to see the Gopal to apologies about that other day and she tell to him about Bharathi and Gopal, he was shocked after hearing it and he tell to her that i am also having the one side crush with her sister.And then they arrange the marriage for them,And they arrange the Gopal to play the act in marriage and marriage is ended good. Kavitha's manager gave the love letter to Kavitha and she filed the complaint against him to the owner of the company and then manager convinced her and sort out the problem.

 

Now Chandra is in love with the manager and they spend time together and days going on.

Unexpected Turning Point :

          After Some days manager see's  the widow lady in a shop she is searching for the  book named the you said"Oru Sila Nerangalil Oru sila Manithargal" and manager hears about and asking that is the book is very important to you,she tells yes and then he offers that book to her from his collection and she thanked him and they are spend the time times together.And one day Kavitha see the book in her house and start reading and keep it in rack.After some days she hear that her boyfriend taking with somebody in phone and he is tell that name of the book for symbolic notation(sometimes some people). She was shocked and then she went to home after some times and she saw her boyfriend and mother together.     

           And the her mother tell he is very kind with me and I feel young and good while i am with him ,it like just you said "FATAFAT", Chandra replied to her mother that my lover cannot able to become my stepfather  after hearing it Chandra mother was shocked and Chandra  trying to commit  the  suicide, Gopal and Kavitha stopped her and tells that  her  mother was commited the suicied and dead in guilty.Kavitha'S family Kavitha brother  went to her office and lied about the medical condition of mother to owner  and  borrowed  the money from him.And Kavitha, brother son and younger brother  scold him for this matter and he was very much huerd after hearing it...After  Some Days Kavitha tell to Gopal about Chandra and offering him to marry her  and then she saw that her brother was working in that hotel and she was happy and return home and replace her brother photo instant of her photo in wall and she said i am going to resign the job and she went to her boss and tell him i am going to resign and her boss offer that job to her bother and after that he went to Kavitha house for propose the marriage with Kavitha and they were so happy and Gopal also accept he marriage with Chandra so they both couple decide the get married in same day.

Climax : 

         After they arranged the marriage, Murthy once took the silver candle from the marriage of her sister for his drugs so he went to a pawn store to retrieve the silver candle. And the manager of the company going towards   to Kavita marriage hall for to stop  the marriage and Murthy stopped the bike of the manager get the lift from him , the he asked him about where are you going and he told that i am going to stop my first girlfriend marriage and her name is kavitha after hearing it he trying to stop him and he kill Murthy accidentally and ran away. And police conduct the Kavitha and tell the details about and Kavitha convinces her owner and asks him to marry her sister and he accepts it. And the both marriage is ended good.After Some Days.

                      And Again Kavitha Starts Going Back To Office for Her Family. 

Again She Is An Never Ending Story.....

 

 

My Perspective:

    In Tamil cinema there are a lot of movies which tell women empowerment in all that men want to tell about their pride.Even if there is the female heroine she was surrounded by a bunch of male actors only like Dora, Kolamavu Kokila etc. But a movie like this was released in 1967 even though that movie nowadays cannot complete it. Even though in that time Hollywood movies also had some criteria to discourage the women but this is one of the epic in Tamil cinema.It was possible because of one man K.B. Sir. Sujatha plays a major role ,Kamal Hasan is the character in that movie. Second Character Chandra Who is the main core of the story which tells about how a girl was used by the man in this society even now no other movie is like it.
